ISELF NAV is an innovative application designed to guide opticians through the complete process of creating a perfectly tailored progressive lens. In just a few steps, the system gathers all the necessary information — from prescription details to the wearer’s lifestyle preferences — enabling the design of lenses that are truly unique and highly personalized.
One of its key strengths is the ability to integrate lifestyle data into the design process, including professional activities, indoor and outdoor habits, and personal interests. This ensures that every lens is optimized not only for vision correction but also for the wearer’s real-life visual needs.
Two Operating Modes
- Wizard Mode (customer-oriented)
A guided 10-step process that allows the optician to design an ISELF lens quickly and intuitively. The system collects prescription data, frame details, and lifestyle information suggested by the wearer. Based on this input, the software automatically selects one of 101 available designs, ranging from extremely soft to extremely hard, and assigns it to the wearer. - Free Mode (optician-oriented)
A professional workflow that gives the optician full control over lens personalization. Together with the wearer, the optician can define and adjust the visual zones of the progressive lens, selecting from the same set of 101 available designs to achieve the most suitable result for the individual lifestyle.
In both modes, the software provides a visual preview of the final lens design. The outcome is a level of customization so advanced that direct comparison with standard progressive designs is not meaningful.
