The DNA PATCH CALCULATION is featured by a surface with overlapping
optimization levels, designed with a micro patch approach and merged
with each other thanks to the use of genetic algorithms.
This technology provides local and microscopic optimizations for reducing aberrations in the
peripherical areas, thus miminimizing the “sway effect” and improving the overall comfort.
Tests made on a first model have shown about 30% of reduction in lateral aberration
compared to a lens designed with traditional methods along with a noticeable decrease
of sway sensation while assuring a large visual field.
